OPUS 28 – 'INVERSE MODELING OF REPOLARIZATION HETEROGENEITY TO DETERMINE THE ARRHYTHMOGENIC RISK’

REQUIREMENTS:

  • (Medical) Technical or physics master degree
  • PhD student statut
  • Affinity with medical research
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to learn to create heart models segmentations
  • Programming Experience:
    • Knowledge of programming languages (C++, Phyton, Matlab,…)
    • Ability to analyze medical data (ECG, clinical background)
  • Team player, working with a medical PhD student in this project

FORMAL REQUIREMENTS:

Fulfillment of the conditions set out in the Annex to NCN Resolution no 25/2024 of 4 March 2024 regarding the Regulations for Awarding NCN Scholarships for NCN-funded Research Projects.

 

TASKS:

  • Data collection (technical approach)
  • Data processing (pre and post processing of all required medical data (DICOM, ECG, etc)
  • ECGI techniques application
  • Develop protocol in collaboration with electrophysiologist
  • Algorithm developments in quantifying the electrical and mechanical functioning of the heart non-invasively

 FUNDING PERIOD: 6 months (with the possibility of extension)

 

RENUMERATION:  30 000 Zloty

Preferred start date: 1 October 2025
