The tasks of the CM Project Management Center include assisting researchers of the Jagiellonian University – Collegium Medicum in the process of obtaining funds and implementing projects financed from external sources, in particular from structural funds, European Commission programs, national and foreign research, research and development, educational and investment programs, and others in particular:

• promotional, information and advisory activities for JUMC employees regarding applications for granting authorizations
• support for project managers and project teams of the JUMC in the field of
  • preparation of the competition documentation necessary to apply for financial resources
  • preparation of documentation related to the launch and operation of the project
  • conducting projects implemented at the JUMC in cooperation with internal departments and external institutions
  • preparation of the documentation necessary for inspections and audits and implementation of post-control recommendations preparation of ongoing and completed projects reports
• project documents formal verification
• monitoring and supervising the timely execution of planned tasks
• participation in the development and update of internal procedures for projects, internal normative acts for scientific research, agreements and contracts on scientific cooperation with external entities
• keeping records of submitted applications and implemented projects, servicing and updating the POL-on system in the scope of work of individual Sections/Teams
• preparing information and reports in the area of research and development activities of the Jagiellonian University Medical College units and for promotional purposes – in cooperation with the JUMC Organization and Promotion Department
• support of coordination of national and international scientific cooperation
• assistance in preparing strategic scientific programs and coordinating project initiatives related to main goals for the development of the Jagiellonian University Medical College
• assistance in preparing opinions for the JUMC authorities in the field of decision making related to partnership agreements, consortium agreements or co-creating scientific clusters;
• support of medical research, including: non-commercial clinical trials, conducted by JUMC trialists, in which the University acts as a Sponsor
• administrative, organizational and financial support for the UJ Bioethics Committee and the JUMC Scientific Research Ethics Committee
• handling the process of obtaining individual insurance policies for the JUMC employees who are Applicants in trials constituting medical experiments that have received a positive opinion
• from the UJ Bioethics Committee
• administrative and financial support for POB qLIFE of the strategic program Initiative of Excellence at the Jagiellonian University
